About the Professional Training School
The Professional Training School is part of the Idaho Against Violence Online Learning Platform, a collaborative training initiative created to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and confidence of professionals working to prevent and respond to violence across Idaho.
Our goal is to make high-quality training easier to access—regardless of where you live or work. Through flexible online learning, professionals can build practical skills, stay current on emerging issues, and strengthen their response to the individuals, families, and communities they serve.
Training is designed for a wide range of professionals, including law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, social workers, multidisciplinary team members, educators, prevention professionals, healthcare providers, and others whose roles intersect with violence prevention and response.
Courses may address topics such as child abuse, domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, victim services, multidisciplinary collaboration, investigation and prosecution, trauma-informed practice, prevention, leadership, and other issues affecting Idaho communities.
